As Child Protection Motivated Advocates, We will bring to you very important strategies that we find valuable in letting you know the reality of child abuse and grooming and how to identify the processes used in ways to gain access to vulnerable children.

BUACA became a registered charity in 2008 when we were at our peak of advocacy. Due to our growth, we have chapters, members, and volunteers in all states of Australia.

BUACA was founded in 2001 when we were disappointed to know many influential child sexual abuse news stories showed a serious lack of attention to leniency giving perpetrators short or no correctional sentence at all. BUACA has also very much been subject to serious stalking and biased police attention. We understand our presence intimidates those who seek to befriend children for grooming.

My name is Pete Geary I work closely with members of our organisation, that is more than willing to support the many families that need support when a child discloses Child Sexual Abuse....

Ben is our Desert Chapter President, is a social worker and regularly works with families from remote Australia, Ben is on the front line and understands the protocols to follow when advocating in areas where abuse, though is looked down upon, there are serious lack of support teams to deal with children,n having to live in communities that just don’t have the resources to act on all complaints or proper investigations. We need to support all communities, no matter where they are, to help those living within remote or regional communities to help or carry their calls for help nationwide.

When BUACA attends child sexual abuse court cases, where a family has asked for BUACA to be present, we do so with diligence knowing our presence will be intimidating to the accused and their families. There have been many child abuse court cases we have attended, that showed the family were alone in the court where the accused had family and referenced friends to rely on for support. BUACA abides by all rules of the court and the directions given by the judges or prosecutors.

BUACA members and volunteers are not paid or compensated for the time and challenges they take to raise awareness of child abuse in their communities, Our members and volunteers are trained and certified to be around children, our members and volunteers usually are caring parents or grandparents, we as a organisation/charity understand the legacy of understanding ways we have learnt over the last 22 years that if we as bikers, or concerned parents, or concerned members of our communities that Child abuse or grooming our children or the protection paedophiles do receive we will never knowingly turn our backs and walk away
